Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to meet business needs.
- Create and maintain Snowflake objects such as databases procedures tasks and streams.
- Leverage Snowflakes cloning capabilities to create efficient database and schema structures.
- Manage Snowflake warehouses monitor performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
- Implement and maintain Snowflake RBAC (RoleBased Access Control) including roles and privileges.
- Integrate Snowflake with SSO and SCIM for secure identity management and access.
- Automate administrative tasks using Snowflake SQL and scripting languages like Python or Shell.
- Develop and implement data integration workflows using tools like Informatica and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments including query profiling and usage tracking.
- Apply Snowflake security features such as data masking encryption and network policies to ensure data safety.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Develop reports using Cognos Analytics and support datadriven decisionmaking.
- Contribute to technical documentation and create diagrams using tools like Visio or Erwin.
Required Qualifications - Experience in data modeling integration warehousing governance and security.
- Proficiency in Snowflake architecture components and administration.
- Expertise in Oracle and/or PostgreSQL particularly in highavailability deployments.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes with tools like Informatica and ADF.
- Advanced technical skills in scripting languages like Python or Shell.
- Experience with Snowflake features such as cloning RBAC SSO and SCIM integration.
- Handson experience with Snowflake security features and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- Strong technical writing and diagramming skills using Microsoft Office Suite and modeling tools.
- Ability to work with multiple teams concurrently delivering highquality results on time.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control for Snowflake code deployments.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry or with HHS agencies.
- Experience working with sensitive data including PII PHI and HL7 formats.
- Knowledge of Informatica 10.5 and Cognos Analytics 11.1.
- Working experience with Azure cloud services.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
