Job Description
Job Title: Infrastructure and Operations Lead
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Data Center services providers for compute and storage ensuring support for 24/7 environments
- Establish goals and objectives for infrastructure security and operations
- Implement technical schedules assess problems and communicate with management regarding infrastructure changes
- Lead the planning and assignment of work for server support physical database and application teams
- Assist IT management in overseeing two Data Center Service providers responsible for computing security and storage components
- Collaborate closely with Data Center Service providers and Systems Architects to develop and implement a Technology Roadmap Plan
- Lead environment expansions migrations and modernization efforts for storage compute network and application systems
- Maintain detailed industry knowledge particularly around Cloud technologies and integrate these insights into internal technical knowledge
- Oversee multiple audits annually and lead major operational projects including migrations data center hardware and software upgrades
- Review legislative and business requirements for impact on TIERS and participate in the TIERS Change Control process
- Review and approve key operational documents such as the Security Plan Disaster Recovery Plan Operational Procedures and Monthly Maintenance plan
- Provide technical expertise on ecosystem changes including the design and development of new technology security events and root cause analysis of all severity events
- Provide 24/7 oncall support as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience overseeing Data Center service providers for compute and storage in 24/7 environments
- Proven track record in establishing and managing infrastructure security and operational goals and objectives
- Expertise in technical implementation problemsolving and scheduling
- Indepth understanding of data center operations to support critical functions
- Strong leadership skills in planning and assigning work for server support database and application teams
- Experience assisting with IT management oversight of Data Center Service providers
- Ability to collaborate with service providers and Systems Architects to develop a strategic technology roadmap
- Experience overseeing infrastructure expansions migrations and modernizations for storage compute network and application systems
- Proficiency in reviewing and leading major operational projects including data center migrations and upgrades
- Familiarity with reviewing and approving key operational documentation including security and disaster recovery plans
- Ability to provide technical expertise on changes within the ecosystem including technology design security events and root cause analysis
- Experience with 24/7 oncall support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps and DevOps tools
- Experience delivering technical training in cloudbased technology
- Familiarity with ITIL ticketing systems such as Remedy and ServiceNow
- Experience managing Archer GRC
