Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the security of our cloudnative applications infrastructure and hybrid environments by proactively identifying potential risks implementing robust security measures and fostering a securityfirst culture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in architectural security reviews cloud security management and threat modeling along with a solid understanding of industry standards and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architectural Security Review:
- Conduct indepth security reviews of solution architectures particularly in cloud environments to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities proactively.
- Collaborate with development teams to guide secure design decisions during all stages of the development lifecycle.
2. Cloud Security Management:
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices including:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Encryption protocols.
- Logging and monitoring solutions.
- Incident response plans for cloudnative applications and infrastructure.

3. Threat Modeling and Risk Management:
- Apply advanced threat modeling techniques to evaluate and prioritize potential threats.
- Design and implement effective security controls tailored to diverse application and infrastructure environments.
- Perform detailed risk analyses and provide actionable recommendations that align security with business objectives.
4. Comprehensive Security Assessments:
- Conduct thorough security assessments across:
- Applications.
- Servers and networks.
- Cloud platforms.
- Applications.
- Identify vulnerabilities prioritize risks and define clear remediation steps to enhance security posture.
5. Standards and Compliance Audits:
- Perform security audits to ensure solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements including:
- NIST CIS ISO 27001 and cloudspecific frameworks like CSA and AWS WellArchitected.

6. Vulnerability Management:
- Utilize security tools to perform vulnerability scans in both traditional and cloud environments.
- Prioritize findings and guide teams through remediation processes effectively.
7. Collaboration and Security Culture:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to implement security controls for hybrid systems.
- Promote secure development practices and foster a securityfirst mindset throughout the organization.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive security assessment reports including:
- Risk assessments.
- Mitigation strategies.
- Recommendations for strengthening cloud and hybrid security postures.
- Risk assessments.
9. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about the latest security trends tools and techniques with a focus on cloud security innovations.
- Recommend new tools and methodologies to enhance security practices and improve overall efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Proven expertise in security architecture particularly in cloudnative and hybrid environments.
- Cloud Proficiency: Handson experience with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Threat Modeling: Proficiency in advanced threat modeling techniques and risk management strategies.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of encryption IAM logging/monitoring and incident response within cloud environments.
- Experience using vulnerability management tools and techniques.

- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CIS ISO 27001 and cloudspecific standards.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to evaluate risks and implement effective security measures.
- Collaboration: Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Industry certifications such as CISSP CISM AWS Certified Security Specialist or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and automation tools.
