Financial Manager
Our client a leading company in the Energies sector is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Zambia. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success of a dynamic and growing organization.
Basic Duties:
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow financial planning and analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations tax laws and internal controls.
- Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Lead audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data to identify costsaving opportunities and efficiencies.
- Provide leadership to the finance team fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field
- Professional certifications such as ACCA CPA or CIMA preferred.
- Minimum of 58 years of experience in financial management ideally in the Energies Mining or Infrastructure sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Zambian financial regulations and taxation laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership analytical and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
