THE ROLE: PROJECT COORDINATOR
As a Project Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of commercial construction projects. From preconstruction through to project completion you ll assist the Project Manager and site teams in ensuring timelines budgets and quality standards are achieved. This is a handson position that offers exposure to all aspects of construction project management setting the stage for longterm growth in your career.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Project Manager to assist in planning organizing and executing projects.
Prepare review and maintain project documentation including RFIs submittals change orders and meeting minutes.
Support the preparation and maintenance of project schedules budgets and procurement plans.
Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors consultants and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Assist in the management of project cost tracking and forecasting.
Organize site logistics and manage material deliveries to ensure the project timeline stays on track.
Monitor safety protocols and compliance with project specifications and standards.
Conduct progress reporting and provide updates to key stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience in a Project Coordinator role within the construction industry preferably with a large general contractor.
A degree or diploma in construction management civil engineering or a related discipline.
Solid understanding of commercial construction processes including tenant improvements and new builds.
Proficiency in construction software such as Procore Bluebeam or MS Project is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A keen eye for detail and a proactive problemsolving mindset.
Knowledge of construction drawings contracts and scheduling techniques.
Familiarity with BC Building Code and WorkSafeBC regulations is a plus.
