Job Summary:
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining designing and maintaining the organization s enterprise architecture ensuring alignment between business strategy and IT infrastructure. This role focuses on business information application technology and security architecture while establishing governance processes and maintaining consistency across all domains. The successful candidate will ensure that all enterprise architecture initiatives align with recognized frameworks such as TOGAF to deliver operational efficiency data integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Architecture
- Define and structure the organization s business processes functions capabilities and strategies.
- Develop models and roadmaps to ensure alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize business processes and capabilities.
2. Information Architecture
- Organize manage and ensure the accuracy accessibility and security of the organization s data assets.
- Develop frameworks for data governance classification and lifecycle management.
- Define policies to ensure effective data integration management and utilization.
3. Application Architecture
- Define the structure and interaction of software applications that support core business processes.
- Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of applications across the enterprise.
- Oversee the selection and design of application solutions that meet business requirements.
4. Technology Architecture
- Establish and design the technical infrastructure that supports applications and business processes.
- Ensure that infrastructure solutions align with business needs and future scalability.
- Recommend technology standards platforms and solutions to improve operational efficiency.
5. Security Architecture
- Develop and implement strategies to protect organizational assets data and infrastructure from security threats.
- Define security controls and standards to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to oversee the implementation of security policies.
6. Governance and Standards
- Define rules processes and standards that guide decisionmaking and ensure consistency across enterprise architecture domains.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
- Establish governance processes to facilitate stakeholder alignment and architecture reviews.
7. Framework Alignment
- Ensure enterprise architecture initiatives align with recognized frameworks such as TOGAF to maintain consistency and quality.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts including blueprints roadmaps and models.
- Provide thought leadership in the adoption and implementation of architecture standards.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF Zachman) are essential.
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture including business information application technology and security domains.
- Strong understanding of data governance IT infrastructure and system integration principles.
- Experience in developing architecture models roadmaps and strategies to align IT with business goals.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools and frameworks.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to nontechnical stakeholders.

Education
