Job Description

What do we expect from you

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Event Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving event sales building strong client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of events. This role involves collaborating with internal departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving revenue goals.

How your day looks like

Sales and Business Development

  • Proactively identify target and secure event sales opportunities including corporate events weddings social gatherings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through regular sales calls networking events and site visits.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations tailored to clients needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure agreements align with company revenue objectives.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly event sales targets.

Event Planning and Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from the inquiry stage through event completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including catering banquet operations and audiovisual to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Oversee event details including menus layouts timelines and special requests ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Conduct site inspections and showcase event spaces to prospective clients.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities and client communications in the CRM system.
  • Provide timely reports on sales performance market trends and competitor activity.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and packages for event sales promotion.

Qualifications :

  • Proven track record in sales preferably in the events industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A passion for the events industry and a keen eye for detail
