Job Description
Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for an Assistant / Application Engineer:
Job Responsibilities
- Based on customer requirement to recommend suitable company machine model and option
- Perform time studies for customer workpieces making machining process and fixture concept proposal tooling list etc
- Create machining program and test cut customer workpiece fulfil as per the requirements
- Conduct programming and operation training for customers
- Onsite support new machine commissioning workpiece test cut runoff etc
- Provide technical support over the phone or onsite for customers
- Setup machine for showroom demonstration or open house / event
Job Requirements:
- Minimum polytechnic graduate with 2 years working experience in relevant field on CNC machining preferably in Turning and Machining Centers
- Proficient in using Solidworks and experienced on Hypermill or MasterCAM or NX
- Must have sound engineering background & application knowledge in metal cutting principles and techniques in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Able to travel to support regional offices for enquiry and project support including execution of turnkey projects
- Training is provided
