Job Summary
The Head of Operations will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the entire operations function. This position will be responsible for building and optimizing operational processes managing supply chain logistics overseeing store operations (if applicable) driving operational excellence and leading crossfunctional teams to ensure that all operations align with strategic goals.
Responsibilities span the following functional areas:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies that align with marketing campaigns and product launches to enhance customer engagement and sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams (including HQ Korea) to leverage operational data for strategic enhancements.
- Lead and mentor operations teams promoting continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee supply chain processes to ensure efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Manage store operations to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent supply.
- Develop and manage operations budget aligning with financial targets.
- Lead across departments to align operational and business goals.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients vendors and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior management (including Korea HQ) to develop and implement company policies and procedures; regular communication with HQ in Korea with reporting in Korean is required.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Experience in the beauty retail business or online/offline platform business in the U.S.
- Experience in establishing and implementing local marketing strategies in the U.S.
- Experience in handling multilocation operations and building infrastructure for scalability.
- Track record of managing multifunctional teams (logistics customer service warehousing store operations etc.).
- Leadership experience with major U.S. beauty and wellness retailers.
- Established network within the U.S. beauty and wellness industry.
- Demonstrated passion for the beauty and wellness industry with a strong understanding of Korean and U.S. beauty trends and the U.S. retail landscape is a plus.

- Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments (marketing sales finance) and with external partners/vendors.
- Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership abilities with experience in guiding developing and managing highperforming teams across different functional areas.
- Operations Management Expertise: Indepth knowledge of operational workflows from supply chain management to customer service with the ability to analyze and improve processes.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a multicultural fastpaced rapidly changing environment and demonstrate a flexible solutionsoriented approach.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or a related field. An MBA or other relevant management degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of expertise in the U.S. beauty industry with recent experience in ecommerce business within the last 5 years.
- Bilingual in English/Korean strongly preferred (Korean: businesslevel proficiency).
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities and serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Travel
Local: less than 10%
