Job Description
Our client is hiring for Billing Clerk to be part of the team. The company is one of the worlds leading logistics providers and has a significant presence in Malaysia which specializes in providing integrated logistics services including freight forwarding supply chain management and contract logistics.
Job Overview:
Billing coordinators are equipped with knowledge of billing procedures and great
attention to detail. Their analytical ability is an asset while their communication skills
can make a difference for customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance and sales professionals to maintain accounts receivable.
- Compile and process information such as prices discounts shipping rates etc.
- Ensure customers are billed correctly for services offered.
- Issue invoices and distribute them electronically or by mail.
- Communicate with customers to answer questions.
- Resolve disagreements between the company and its creditors.
- Request payment of pending debts in a firm yet considerate manner
- Negotiate payment arrangements when needed.
- Keep accurate records (customer information received payments etc.)
- Prepare and submit statements.
- Requirement:
- Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years work experiences in the logistics financial field or transportation industry.
- Knowledge of SAP/warehouse system would be advantage skills.
- Service oriented with good interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
