Job Title: Senior Substation Project Engineer
Job Location: Juno Beach FL OR Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Expected Contract Length: 12 Months

Position Overview:
Join our clients dynamic engineering team as a Senior Substation Project Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead substation projects from inception through to completion contributing to cuttingedge renewable energy infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead substation projects throughout all stages from conception to commissioning.
- Coordinate closely with EarlyStage Project Managers to define engineering requirements.
- Provide technical oversight to external Engineers of Record (EOR).
- Manage procurement and contracts for engineering services.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders onsite development and permitting processes.
- Supervise major material orders and project budgets.
- Support commissioning activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in High Voltage substation design and engineering.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience with utilityscale power infrastructure projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge of IEEE NESC and ASCE standards.
