Job Description
- Lead the procurement process for materials equipment and services required for projects.
- Collaborate with engineering project management and operations teams to identify procurement needs and develop technical specifications.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies SOPs to ensure costeffective and timely acquisition of materials equipment and services as required.
- Develop supplier network PAN India for critical materials and equipment.
- Conduct supplier evaluations negotiations and contract management to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Monitor and assist Junior procurement engineer to prepare and issue Requests for Proposals/Quotations (RFPs/RFQs) purchase orders (POs).
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with project managers accounts procurement and inventory teams ensuring accuracy in payments for smooth and timely execution of projects.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities providing insights for projects financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with company’s financial regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for management review.
