Job Description

Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering analyzing and documenting business requirements to support strategic initiatives and business process optimization. The role involves working closely with key stakeholders to identify business needs develop clear specifications and deliver solutions that align with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will ensure that proposed solutions meet the requirements of CETA and contribute to the enhancement of business efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering:
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify and capture detailed business and functional requirements.
  • Use various methods such as interviews workshops and surveys to gather comprehensive requirements from stakeholders.
2. Requirements Documentation:
  • Clearly define and document business requirements in key deliverables including:
  • Business Requirements Specification (BRS)
  • Functional Requirements Specification (FRS)
  • User Stories
  • Use Cases
  • Process Flow Diagrams
  • Other relevant visual models
3. Requirements Analysis:
  • Evaluate and prioritize business requirements to ensure alignment with CETA and stakeholder objectives.
  • Assess the feasibility and business value of requirements ensuring decisions are based on sound analysis.
4. Solution Design:
  • Define and validate proposed solutions to ensure they effectively address business needs and align with CETA s requirements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop solutions that meet the functional and nonfunctional requirements.
5. Process Improvement:
  • Review and analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance business efficiency reduce costs and streamline operations.
6. Framework Alignment:
  • Ensure that all business analysis activities align with recognized frameworks such as BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge).
  • Apply best practices to maintain accuracy consistency and high standards in all deliverables.


Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business analysis including requirements gathering documentation and solution design.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks (e.g. BABOK) and methodologies (Agile Waterfall).
  • Experience in creating detailed documentation such as BRS FRS User Stories Use Cases and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into clear actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problemsolving and process optimization skills.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and business analysis tools.

Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design. Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks (e.g., BABOK) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Experience in creating detailed documentation such as BRS, FRS, User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flow Diagrams. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving and process optimization skills. Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, and business analysis tools.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
