Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Helpdesk Engineer

Location: Basingstoke Hampshire
Job Type: Fulltime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily engineering projects schedule appointments update documents and communicate with customers via phone email and Salesforce.
  • Log triage and direct support requests ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
  • Allocate and reallocate engineering resources based on priority availability and location.
  • Ensure field engineers update records in real time and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Liaise with customers on project updates preventative maintenance and rental equipment collection.
  • Assist with order processing stock management and general office administration.
  • Create and distribute service reports patch updates and other required communications.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a Helpdesk/Service Desk role with customer support expertise.
  • IT knowledge or interest (qualifications desirable).
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in IT systems data entry and administrative tasks.
