Compliance Analyst (Investments / Mutual Funds) Remote

Salaried: $42.85 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $48.00 per hour.
6month contract with the possibility of extension.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the administration of the Independent Review Committee including preparing meeting materials and managing meeting documentation.
Support the renewal process for offering documents such as the Simplified Prospectus Fund Facts and Annual Information Form ensuring coordination with stakeholders and updates to documents.
Document and review internal adherence to regulatory requirements including National Instrumentsand 81107.
Partner with internal teams to update procedures training materials and other critical documentation.
Coordinate activities related to Business Continuity Planning such as updating plans analyzing call tree test data and researching best practices.
Monitor shared mailboxes for regulatory and governancerelated communications.
Provide functional support for team responsibilities and act as backup for colleagues as needed.
What you will need to succeed:
Legal compliance or governance background with experience in the mutual fund or investment industry.
Relevant work experience and functional knowledge of regulatory instruments such as National Instruments81107 and the Ontario Securities Act.
Industry certifications such as the Canadian Securities Course or Branch Manager s Course are highly desirable.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fastpaced environment.
Proactive detailoriented and adaptable with excellent collaboration skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with Diligent Litera Compare and Calculated Design is an asset.
French knowledge is an asset.
