Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Mental Health Enablement Officer on a 2month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 15.50 19.06 per hour
Hours Per Week: 21:60
Responsibilities:
- Assist with establishing developing and sustaining effective working relationships with service users.
- Provide appropriate and practical assistance and support to meet the needs and requirements of service users individually and as a team.
- As agreed within the service to undertake the role duties and responsibilities of a key/case worker.
- To assist the Manager/Team Leader in ensuring that service users have appropriate access to advocacy and where appropriate to the service are empowered to self advocate.
- Actively support and promote the inclusion and participation of service users using a range of interventions e.g. group work user participation.
- As discussed with the line manager undertake relevant training and contribute to team workshops and other learning opportunities to promote good practice.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Care Act 2014
- Proven experience of working as main support worker to a caseload of adults who have primary severe and enduring mental health needs
- Experience of working independently in the community providing practical and emotional support to service users using a personcentred approach

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
