Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Repairs Resolution Officer on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 18.11 23.54 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Strive to support the achievement of an excellent dispute resolution service.
- To develop a sense of pride and passion and a can do attitude to reduce the number of complex investigations being completed and focussing staff on providing services right first time.
- Ensure that the investigation process continuously improves to reflect best practice.
- To participate in the strategic and operational initiatives to improve the Councils overall approach to complaints handling and customer care.
- To learn lessons from complaints and in conjunction with the customer resolution management team implement changes that result in improved service delivery across the Council and to work with senior managers to ensure that these changes are implemented.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of mechanisms for dispute resolution and systems of redress within the local government setting.
- Knowledge of the role of local authorities in delivering services.
- Experience of repairs and maintenance service delivery.
- Experience of responding to correspondence and drafting reports.
