Job Description
Nixon McQuade are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a new and rapidly growing business in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support the finance department and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and thriving environment.
The Role:
- Assist with processing invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing.
- Help with VAT returns and other financial compliance tasks.
The Person:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
