Job Description

MW Partners is currently seeking a Manager to work for our client who is a leader in the media and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • The Manager of Ad Standards for Nickelodeon Standards and Practices is responsible for reviewing advertising creative to ensure that all advertising sponsorships and partner marketing complies with federal regulations industry requirements and selfregulatory best practices for childrens media.
  • The Manager is responsible for clearing advertisements for the following linear digital and social platforms: Nickelodeon Nick toons Teen Nick Pluto TV Kids VOD OTT nick.com 20 YouTube channels all Nick social O & O channels and gaming platforms.
  • This position requires broad knowledge of the advertising industry including FTC FCC CARU MPA and ESRB guidelines
  • The Standards and Practices commercial clearance review process critically supports Nickelodeons ad sales business through daily review of scripts storyboards rough cuts and finals for all platforms
  • Active participation in daily review of commercial logs review of digital ad sales materials
  • Participation in teams coverage of live events; and review of marketing proposals pitches and executions for digital and multiplatform initiatives.
  • The Manager is expected to provide clear and timely responses and creative solutions to partner with clients to strengthen business relationships and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 35 years experience (advertising/childrens marketing advertising clearance childrens media toy companies)Critical thinking Editorial Judgment Communication Must have sense of urgency
  • 3 5 years work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills highly collaborative and respectful of others
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good editorial judgment
  • Ability to be proactive in servicing clients
  • Ability to represent the department in a professional mature and positive manner
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize a diverse workload
  • Must be both detailoriented and strategic
  • Teambuilder and relationshipbuilder
  • Ability to work independently
  • Should enjoy working in a fastpaced collaborative environment
  • Good research skills
  • Positive and energetic
  • Highly flexible and willing to adapt as needed
  • Strong computer skills (Internet Windows Excel PowerPoint Access)
  • Knowledge of childrens media industry and associated regulations preferred
  • At least 3 years in either childrens media or advertising
  • Experience with industry databases Media Vu Media Q Extreme Reach and Wide Orbit.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with databases Wide Orbit Media Vu Media Q Extreme Reach Negotiation Able to Multitasking
