Job Title : Talend Developer
Location : VA / Remote Only US citizens
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Warehousing Developer with strong experience in Talend ETL and Oracle Database management. This role will involve designing developing and maintaining data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Responsibilities: Design develop and maintain data warehouse solutions to ensure accurate reliable and scalable data storage. Build and optimize ETL processes using Talend for data extraction transformation and loading. Create and manage complex data integration workflows and pipelines in Talend. Work closely with data analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency. Develop and manage Oracle database schemas tables views and indexes to support data warehousing. Monitor troubleshoot and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data operations. Implement data governance practices including data validation error handling and data lineage tracking. Participate in requirements gathering analysis and design to develop efficient data warehousing solutions. Conduct data analysis profiling and performance tuning of ETL processes and databases. Ensure data security privacy and compliance standards are met.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field. 3 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development. Strong handson experience with Talend ETL tools (Data Integration Data Quality etc.). Proficiency in Oracle Database including PL/SQL programming and performance tuning. Familiarity with data modeling concepts data warehousing best practices and data pipeline architecture. Knowledge of SQL and database management tools. Experience with big data technologies and cloudbased data warehousing solutions (optional). Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills: Experience with other ETL tools or databases. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting. Certifications in Talend or Oracle Database.
