Job Description:
Functional Responsibilities:
Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to Master Data Governance processes including Material Master Vendor Master Customer Master and other critical data domains.
Solution Design: Design endtoend solutions for MDG implementations enhancements and customizations ensuring alignment with business processes and technical requirements.
Process Mapping & Configuration: Configure SAP MDG workflows validation rules and data models for various master data objects.
Stakeholder Communication: Engage with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions.
Testing & Validation: Conduct unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for MDG configurations and developments.
Documentation: Prepare functional documentation process flows and solution design documents.
Technical Responsibilities:
System Configuration & Development: Perform detailed system configuration and technical development in SAP MDG including custom development for data models user interfaces (UI) and workflows.
Integration: Work on integration between SAP MDG and other SAP modules (e.g. SAP ERP SAP S/4HANA SAP BW) and thirdparty applications.
Data Migration: Support data migration activities ensuring accurate and complete transfer of master data to SAP MDG from legacy systems.
Enhancement/Customization: Develop custom reports extensions and enhancements using ABAP WebDynpro Fiori/UI5 or other relevant technologies.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing postimplementation support for SAP MDG and related systems identifying and resolving issues related to data quality system performance and user errors.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) in both functional and technical roles.
Strong expertise in configuring and supporting MDG workflows data models and UI developments.
Handson experience in integrating SAP MDG with other SAP modules (ECC S/4HANA SAP CRM etc.) and external systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in ABAP (preferably ABAP OO) WebDynpro SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP Gateway.
Experience with SAP MDG Data Models (MDG 7.x and higher) UI configuration and workflow design.
Knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance concepts (Business Partner Material Master Customer Vendor etc.).
Familiarity with SAP HANA SQL and data management tools.
Functional Skills:
Strong understanding of Master Data processes and governance.
Expertise in designing and configuring master data management workflows validation rules and data governance strategies.
Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and MDGs capabilities within the S/4HANA landscape.
Certifications:
SAP MDG certification (optional but preferred).
Any other relevant SAP certifications (S/4HANA ABAP etc.) are a plus.
