Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in Restful Application Programming (RAP) Core Data Services (CDS) and other modern SAP technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing efficient and innovative SAP solutions particularly in the context of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain ABAP programs using RAP model for creating transactional applications on SAP BTP and S/4HANA.
Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views and annotations to build efficient data models.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Optimize and enhance existing ABAP code to ensure high performance scalability and maintainability.
Implement and enhance OData services and ensure smooth integration with SAP Fiori applications.
Leverage BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework) in combination with RAP to build business objects.
Participate in endtoend project implementation including design development testing deployment and support.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and lead efforts for performance tuning and debugging.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving team processes and standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong handson experience with Restful Application Programming (RAP) in SAP BTP/S/4HANA environments.
Extensive knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) for data modeling and access in SAP S/4HANA.
Proficient in developing OData services and integrating with Fiori/UI5 applications.
Familiarity with BOPF framework SAP Gateway and S/4HANA extensibility.
Expertise in performance tuning code optimization and efficient ABAP coding techniques.
Experience working with SAP S/4HANA SAP Fiori and modern SAP technologies.
Knowledge of AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and SQLScript is a plus.
Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) development environments is a plus.
Strong problemsolving skills ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
