Job Description
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
- The typical candidate will possess at least 710 years of relevant experience with at least 35 years in a lead role
- Experience using Windows operating system (perform basic tasks such as transferring data copying data creating/editing/running executable files/scripts etc.)
- Hands on experience with most common commercial G&G software (Petrel Paleoscan Bluware etc.) and the subsurface workflows.
- Have practical knowledge and/or handson experience with Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU)
- Experience in writing testing requirements and testing software against those requirements for existing and new software.
- Working with stakeholders to ensure software testing meets the need of the business.
- You will have advanced experience in test case management tracking in tools like ADO maintaining ensuring transparency and ownership.
- Working with a hybrid team of delivery resources (internal & external) across geographies utilising scrum methodology where relevant.
- You have an eye for detail and the ability to think beyond business as usual.
- Demonstratable continuous improvement mindset.
- You must possess the skills and resourcefulness to troubleshoot challenges when the arise
- You should be comfortable utilising and navigating MS Azure to access resources in support of testing activities
Desirable Criteria
- Familiarity with test automation software e.g. Ranorex Studio
- Experience of data management support and best practice within the subsurface domain
- Exhibit familiarity with scripting e.g. PowerShell
