Are you a skilled mechanic with experience in commercial vehicles Ready to take on a role that offers variety responsibility and the chance to be part of an expert team If so keep reading you might just be the mechanic were searching for.

About the Role
This handson role is for a mobile service van technician with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles. Based in our clients MidSussex workshop youll be covering a mix of locations across Sussex and Surrey. Youll be diagnosing and fixing issues onsite and roadside ensuring every vehicle is safe reliable and ready for action. From regular maintenance and safety inspections to MOT preparation youll keep the fleet running smoothly and efficiently. A fully equipped service van is provided so youll have everything you need to succeed on the go.

Our client is a wellestablished and respected leader in commercial vehicle services renowned for their commitment to highquality repairs and exceptional customer service. Their team works across Sussex and Surrey supporting various clients with swift reliable solutions. With a passion for excellence they have built a reputation as a trusted service provider in the commercial vehicle industry.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8 am 5 pm

  • Flexibility required for oncall hours and varied start/finish times depending on daily demands

Key Duties

  • Perform onsite and roadside repairs maintenance and diagnostics on commercial and LGV vehicles

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOTs

  • Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues efficiently ensuring minimal downtime

  • Maintain a high level of customer service keeping clients informed and satisfied with each job completed

Key Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair

  • Proven experience working on commercial vehicles

  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems including engines transmissions and diagnostics

  • UK Drivers licence

  • Class 2 licence preferred but not essential

  • Excellent problemsolving skills with a focus on precision and reliability
