Job Title: Express Hiring for RN Intensive Care Unit : Get Hired Today!
Location: Utica NY 13502
Pay Rate: $70/hr
Duration: 10 weeks contract
Shift: Night
Guarantee Hours: 48
Job Summary:
- The ICU RN will provide expert care to critically ill patients focusing on the assessment monitoring and treatment of complex medical conditions.This role requires close collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver individualized care and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and wellbeing.
- HOLIDAY COVERAGE
- 48 HOUR CONTRACTS (will take 36 as well)
- NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO
- MUST WORK 1 MAJOR HOLIDAY
- 11/11 STARTS 10 WEEKS
- 11/1812/9 STARTS 8 WEEKS
- ICU RN
- Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
- Heart experience HIGHLY preferred Manager looking at these as priority!
Submission Requirements:
- HCPs permanent address must be greater than 75 Miles from the work assignment location.
- Up to date resume that includes 2 years of experience in ICU SICU CTICU Trauma ICU MS ICU or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.
- 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
- Current AHA ACLS BLS NIHSS
- NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License
- RTO MUST be included at time of submission
- EMR Exp Required: EPIC
Job Description:

- Shift: 6;30p7a (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
- OT: After 48
- Floating Required: Yes
- Scrub Color: Navy
Unit Specifics:
- Beds: 42 beds (East 20 West 22) Neuro/Med: 22 CTICU: 6 Surg/Trauma: 14
- Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
- Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med Strokes Sepsis AMS Neuro Intervention (TCAR) Resp Failure CHF Post Stemi
- CTICU CV surg Cardiogenic Shock AAA Surg/Trauma Trauma Major postop sx
- Drips and medications: Pressors Levophed Neo Epi VasopressinDobutamine & Dopamine Vasodilators Cleviprex Cardene NTG Antiarrhythmics Cardizem Amiodarone Lido Sedation Precedex Propofol FentanylTPN and Insulin
- Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy ICP monitoring TTM (Artic Sun)
