Job Title: RN Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Andover Kansas
Schedule: Nights (3x12 shifts 7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
Pay Rate: $35 $38 per hour (based on experience)
Differentials:
- Night Shift: $4.00 per hour
- Weekend: $4.00 per hour (11:00 PM Friday 11:30 PM Sunday)
- Holiday: 50% of base rate (for six major holidays)
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our acute care team. The ICU RN will deliver professional nursing care to critically ill patients including assessment direct care education and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role requires strong critical thinking and communication skills to provide highquality care in a fastpaced environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing systematic assessments of patient conditions.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient care needs.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery.
- Document all care interventions and patient responses in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure care is delivered in alignment with professional standards and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (BSN preferred). Nursing diploma accepted if completed before or during the 1980s.
- Active Registered Nurse license issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred (must be obtained within six months of hire).
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (must be obtained within six months of hire).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred must be obtained within six months of hire).
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
