As a senior Cath lab nurse must administer appropriate medicine when needed.
Must be able perform proper after procedure care.
Must check vital signs of the patient with proper care.
Provide education about medications and care to the patients and families before the discharge.

Cath Lab
Shift/Schedule: FT/Days 10hr shifts
Call: 810 weeknights in 68wks and 1 weekend in 67wks
Candidate Requirements: Must have 2yr recent full time Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU RN experience. Cath and/or EP Lab RN experience is a plus.
Patient Population: Adult Cardiology Electrophysiology and Vascular patients.
Patient Ratios: Cath/RP team comprised of RNs and Rad Techs working in 34 person teams to manage procedural patient care collaborating with the proceduralist and anesthesia providers.
Number of Beds: 5 total invasive cardiology labs including 2 electrophysiology labs.
Department Specifics: The BHVH Cath/EP Lab working in conjunction with Client All Saints is the only hospital in Tarrant count providing a full spectrum of Cardiology services including LVAD ECMO ECPR TAVR MitraClip and advanced heart failure programs. Over 1800 invasive cardiology procedures per year and over 800 electrophysiology and cardiac implantations per year. We crosstrain staff members to be proficient in multiple roles in the Cath/EP Lab.
