Cyber Security Compliance Engineer
Objectives of the Role
To ensure the security and regulatory compliance of automotive systems and components by implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.
This role aims to protect against the vehicle cyber threats ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data and meet industry standards and legal requirements.
As a Cybersecurity Compliance Engineer collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify vulnerabilities enforce security protocols and continuously monitor and improve the cybersecurity posture of automotive products throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Ensure automotive systems comply with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434 UNECE R155 and other industryspecific guidelines.
Validate security measures and ensure they meet required standards and performance metrics.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cybersecurity policies procedures and compliance activities.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including product development IT legal and external partners to ensure alignment on cybersecurity objectives and compliance requirements.
Assess and manage cybersecurity risks associated with suppliers and thirdparty vendors.
Ensure that suppliers comply with the organizations cybersecurity requirements and standards.
Required skills and qualifications
Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles practices and tools.
Familiarity with automotivespecific cybersecurity standards (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434) and communication protocols (e.g. CAN LIN).
Proficient in Automotive system knowledge & TARA analysis
Work products hands on
Vehicle level knowledge (desired)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including engineers legal and management.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed documentation of security measures risk assessments and compliance activities.
