Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling stock to minimize waste and ensure availability.
Support the implementation of health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for guests and colleagues.
Serving Drinks and Snacks
Prepare and Serve Beverages: Serve a wide range of beverages, including alcoholic drinks like cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as non-alcoholic beverages like soft drinks, juices, and mocktails.
Food Service: Serve light snacks or food items, such as finger foods, appetizers, and sandwiches, depending on the menu offered at the pool bar.
Bartending: Prepare and mix drinks based on the guest's order, ensuring quality and consistency in all drinks.
Upsell Products: Promote special cocktails, food items, or promotions available at the pool bar.
Guest Interaction and Customer Service
Greet Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive at the pool bar, provide menus, and take their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist with Orders: Take drink and food orders, ensure they are accurate, and serve items promptly.
Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Be attentive to guests’ needs, check in on them throughout their stay at the pool bar, and resolve any complaints or issues quickly and professionally.
Create a Relaxing Atmosphere: Establish a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere for guests, ensuring they are comfortable while enjoying their drinks or food.
Maintaining the Bar Area
Bar Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and order in the pool bar area, ensuring that tables, chairs, and the bar itself are clean and well-organized.
Stocking: Monitor the stock of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks, and replenish supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
Prepare Garnishes: Ensure garnishes like fruits, herbs, and other cocktail decorations are ready for use and served according to the drink's requirements.
Monitoring Poolside Safety and Environment
Safety Awareness: While not primarily responsible for lifeguarding, pool bar staff should be aware of the pool area and ensure that guests are using the pool safely.
Monitor Poolside Behavior: Be mindful of guests' behavior around the pool, particularly when it comes to alcohol consumption, ensuring that guests are safe and behaving appropriately.
Keep Area Tidy: Make sure that the surrounding pool area is free of trash and that any broken glassware or bottles are cleaned up immediately to maintain safety and cleanliness.
