Job Title: Marketing Strategist / Growth Marketer

Location: Remote

We are a highend local business in Brooklyn NY focused on delivering an exceptional experience to our customers. We’re looking for an experienced marketing strategist/growth marketer with a strong background in local marketing and a passion for innovative costeffective lead generation.

Role Overview:
As our Marketing Strategist/Growth Marketer you’ll drive our marketing efforts from strategy to execution focusing on both digital and guerrilla tactics to maximize our local presence and customer acquisition. You’ll oversee campaign management datadriven optimization and crossfunctional coordination ensuring that all aspects of our marketing strategy align with our brand and business goals.


Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Comprehensive Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a fullscope marketing plan blending digital and local engagement tactics to meet business objectives.
  • DataDriven Adaptation: Use performance data and realtime insights to refine strategies ensuring campaigns drive optimal results.
  • Objective Setting and KPI Development: Define measurable goals and KPIs for all initiatives.

Advertising and Campaign Management

  • Google and Social Media Ads: Set up monitor and optimize ads on Google Facebook Instagram and TikTok ensuring local targeting effectiveness.
  • Budget and ROAS Management: Efficiently allocate budgets and optimize for return on ad spend.
  • Experimentation and A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on various ad creatives messaging and formats to determine the most effective approach.
  • Manage Ad Retargeting: Manage the retargeting of leads from purchased data lists across google ads meta ads cold emails and direct mail. Retarget "lost customers" with ads. Retarget organic traffic to website yelp google business profile and callers where possible.

Guerrilla Marketing and Local Engagement

  • Innovative Guerrilla Tactics: Develop and execute costeffective creative guerrilla marketing strategies to drive local awareness and leads.
  • Local Community Building: Build a strong local following and foster engagement through creative communitycentered tactics.

Project and Vendor Management

  • CrossFunctional Coordination: Oversee timelines and manage external vendors to ensure cohesive brand representation.
  • Task Delegation and Campaign Execution: Lead implementation of marketing initiatives ensuring all projects are executed on time and at high standards.

Content and Brand Development

  • Creative Direction: Define and oversee branded content creation across channels ensuring consistency in voice and visuals.
  • Content Production and Curation: Collaborate with photographers and videographers to create content that aligns with brand values.

Social Media and Community Engagement (If we Prioritize Building Social Profiles)

  • Social Media Presence: Oversee daily engagement interact with followers and foster a strong community presence.
  • Content Calendar and Posting: Develop and execute a social media content calendar ensuring local resonance and engagement.

Email SMS and Direct Marketing

  • Targeted Campaigns: Design and implement email and SMS campaigns with personalized messaging for high engagement.
  • Testing and Optimization: Optimize campaigns through segmentation and A/B testing.

SEO and Local Optimization (If we Prioritize This)

  • Local SEO Management: Optimize Google Business Profile and local listings to enhance visibility.
  • Backlinking and Content Strategy: Develop backlink strategies and create SEOoptimized content to boost local search rankings.

Analytics and KPI Reporting

  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor KPIs and ROAS weekly and monthly providing insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools like Google Analytics Facebook Insights and Google My Business to assess performance and adjust strategies.


Skills Required

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Experience in creating and executing localfocused marketing strategies.
  • Digital Advertising: Proficient in Google Ads social media ads and retargeting campaigns.
  • DataDriven Decision Making: Skilled in KPI tracking data analysis and adapting strategies based on insights.
  • Guerrilla Marketing: Proven experience in developing lowcost highimpact guerrilla marketing tactics.
  • Project Management and Coordination: Ability to manage projects and external vendors ensuring timely execution.
  • Content Creation and Creative Direction: Background in defining and directing content across channels.
  • SEO and Local Search Optimization: Proficiency in onpage and offpage SEO with a focus on local visibility.
  • Social Media Management: Handson experience with social media platforms building engagement and community.
  • Email and SMS Marketing: Knowledge of campaign development segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Reporting and Analytical Skills: Ability to generate and present performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Keeps current with trends open to experimenting with new tools.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills for crossteam coordination and client updates.
