Responsibilities
Develop highquality designs for HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems that meet project timelines and deliverables.
Utilize AutoCAD Revit and HVACrelated software to create precise mechanical system designs.
Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Provide mentorship to junior team members and seek guidance from senior staff for ongoing development.
Reference and apply relevant codes and standards in all designs.
Communicate technical requirements effectively through reports and client interactions.
Conduct site visits and assist with field reviews as needed.
Qualifications
EIT P.Eng. or Professional Technologist designation (EGBC or ASTTBC).
Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design (HVAC plumbing and fire protection).
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit IESve or HAP is an asset.
Strong knowledge of Building Codes related to mechanical systems.
Sustainable design certification (LEED Passive House) is a plus.
Excellent organizational communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and continuous learning.
