Drive mechanical part carbon fiber vendors quality expectations and interact with material planning new product development and global supply management teams
Responsible for following the Ok2X process (Ok2Tool / Ok2Build / Ok2Ship) and managing vendor deliverables to meet the schedule
Perform onsite vendor audits and perform root cause analysis corrective action implementation at vendor sites
Drive part qualification process by ensuring documentation is completed ontime to the required extent and approve changes to supplier related documents
Lead supplier assessments for new vendors travel to vendor locations and assess technical capability and capacity
Lead OQC activities at vendor sites and be responsible for Ok2Ship approval to final manufacturing location
Requirements:
8 years of relevant work experience including experience in manufacturing environment especially aviation products.
Familiar carbon fiber manufacture process is a plus
Able to review measurement SOP and measurement jig qualifying or improving driving.
Good English communication skills.
Good knowledge in QCP MSA SPC GD&T APQP PPAP etc.
Good schedule management skill and ability to follow up with supplier to monitor progress
Good knowledge and experience in quality control (cosmetic dimensional functional) familiar with IQC/IPQC/OQC/OBA
Careful and patient person good ability to write and check reports.
Technical expertise in DFM for at least 1 of the following (mold flow simulation machining / inspection fixture design metrology (cmm / omm programming and inspection) process dfm for assemblies etc)
Familiarity with low volume high variety manufacturing parts and processes
Proficiency in CAD software to review drawings parts and assemblies
Ability to use statistical tools & software for data analysis
