Position: Assistant Chief Engineer

Department: Engineering

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Hotels & Resorts as anAssistant Chief Engineer. In this role you will play a key part in maintaining the entire hotel facilities including mechanical electrical and HVAC systems while supporting the Chief Engineer in all departmental responsibilities.You will ensure that our facilities uphold the highest standards of quality reliability and safety.

What Youll Do

  • Coordinate and participate in all activities of the Engineering department in maintaining both the hotels.
  • Ensure all engineering works comply with hotel and government rules and regulations.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programmes to ensure reliability and efficiency of all equipment.
  • Assist Chief Engineer to manage and lead the Engineering team.

What Were Looking For

  • A Bachelors degree or Diplomain Engineering or related field.
  • Thorough knowledge in Engineering principals.
  • Handson experience in hotel maintenance operation.
  • Experience in a start class property in a similar position in Maldiveswould be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
