Job Description

Our client is a leading company in the FMCG industry in Kuwait seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer Electrical to join their team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment by performing timely maintenance addressing breakdowns and implementing improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks and handle assigned responsibilities independently.
  • Diagnose repair and analyze causes of breakdowns especially electrical issues.
  • Follow supervisors instructions and upgrade/install new equipment as needed.
  • Suggest process improvements and propose effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Create work orders issue spare parts and update technical manuals and drawings.
  • Troubleshoot machinery software problems and optimize preventive maintenance programs.
  • Comply with organizational health safety and sustainability practices and Kuwaits regulations during all duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Instrumentation or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills particularly in diagnosing electrical breakdowns.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
