Senior Design Construction Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Construction Manager to lead capital construction projects within the healthcare sector in the Napa region. This role focuses on managing complex construction initiatives ensuring compliance with industry standards and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare construction leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders effectively.

Location: Napa CA USA (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Review and update project reports to ensure accuracy and communicate progress effectively.
• Develop and oversee project budgets schedules and milestones.
• Negotiate and approve architectural services change orders invoices and pay applications.
• Lead design meetings with architects contractors and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to align with project goals.
• Ensure compliance with building codes safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Oversee procurement and installation of furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E).
• Manage project closeout processes including uploading documentation to data systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 7 years of construction management experience with at least 4 years in healthcarespecific projects.
• 3 years of supervisory experience managing direct reports and thirdparty vendors.
• Expertise in negotiating architectural and construction proposals.
• Leadership experience in managing large complex construction projects.
• Indepth knowledge of infection control and healthcare regulatory standards.
• Strong skills in budget management scheduling and compliance monitoring.
• Valid drivers license with compliance to state driving regulations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Project Management Business Administration or related fields.
• Experience managing healthcare construction projects involving staffing operations and physician collaboration.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
