Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee multiple civil engineering projects including residential and commercial land development from initial planning to final delivery.
Lead mentor and supervise junior engineers CAD professionals and drafters to ensure successful project execution.
Partner with senior leadership to advance business development and growth strategies.
Design and review detailed engineering solutions including grading storm drainage systems utility planning and regulatory compliance.
Ensure adherence to stormwater regulations and oversee project permitting and approvals.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create refine and review technical designs.
Foster strong communication with clients team members and leadership to maintain positive relationships and align project goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in California.
Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience specializing in land development within the San Diego region.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and comprehensive knowledge of stormwater regulations.
Advanced technical expertise in grading storm drain systems and utility design.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively and lead project teams successfully.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership.
Experience in strategic planning and interest in longterm business development.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities to support the growth of junior staff.
Indepth knowledge of local land development regulations and industry trends.
