Vall dHebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall dHebron. VHIR is oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the scientific educational social and economic development within its area of competence around the world.
VHIR offers a vacant position of clinical researcher within the Stroke Research Group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Medicine
- Spesialization in Neurology
- Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish
- Good communication skills the ability to work in a team and independently.
Desired:
- Fluency in Catalan
- Italian and/or French will be valued
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 6 months of clinical experience in a Stroke Unit.
Desired:
- Neurosonologic training
- Previous participation in clinical research activity
- Certification in Good Clinical Practice
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Organization and management of patients included in clinical trials/research studies
- Give support to follow up visits of patients
- Clinical research on Stroke
- Involvement in Europeanfunded projects based on stroke research and Artificial Intelligence.
Labour conditions:
- Fulltime position: 40hours/week
- Starting date: January 2025
- Gross annual salary: 38.000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges will be consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
