Job Description
Our company is seeking an experienced and passionate individual for a Senior Light Technician role. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute customized lighting plans for a live 24/7 studio ensuring consistent and superior lighting quality.
- Operate oversee and maintain lighting equipment addressing technical challenges promptly.
- Communicate updates on daily operations equipment performance and any issues to the onsite manager and department director ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
- Lead supervise and train junior technicians fostering their growth and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate lighting with audio video and additional studio systems ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed lighting records and inventory while fostering a positive team environment and staying informed on emerging industry technologies and trends.
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Significant experience in live studio lighting including creating and managing setups for continuous broadcasting and strong knowledge of lighting equipment and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and executing light plots and a solid understanding of safety protocols for live studio operations.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills to resolve technical issues swiftly in a highpressure live production environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the onsite manager and department director.
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to adapt to varying work schedules including occasional night and weekend shifts.
