Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Accounts Payable Team Lead you will play a crucial role in supporting the regional finance function by:
- Processing vendor invoices for European and nonEuropean entities in compliance with company policies.
- Managing payment runs to vendors and facilitating manual payments through online banking systems.
- Ensuring accurate processing of sensitive invoices such as Health Care Practitioner invoices rebates HR benefits and prepayments.
- Monitoring the Accounts Payable inbox posting invoices and addressing vendor inquiries.
- Leading regular meetings with internal stakeholders to align on invoice processing and payment activities.
- Supporting the implementation of SAP Ariba and OCR functionalities including resolving discrepancies.
- Establishing and maintaining successful vendor relationships while collaborating with Procurement Accounting and FP&A teams.
What You Bring
- A Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of endtoend accounts payable experience in a multinational environment.
- Advanced knowledge of AP/GL accounting transactions and proficiency in SAP.
- Experience with OCR tools and a strong understanding of US GAAP European accounting standards and VAT regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity to work effectively across geographies.
- A proactive analytical mindset with problemsolving skills and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English is required (additional languages are a plus).
- Experience in healthcare or a related industry is advantageous.
