EOI for Data Project Manager Canberra
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and selfdriven Data Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering largescale data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leveraging Azure DevOps managing diverse stakeholders and collaborating across technical business and vendor teams. Prior experience in federal government organisations is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage endtoend data projects including large data migration initiatives.
- Utilise Azure DevOps for project planning tracking and delivery of tasks and milestones.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions including integrations transformations and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align project deliverables with organisational objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships ensuring quality outcomes and compliance with contracts.
- Identify mitigate and manage project risks to ensure seamless delivery within scope and budget.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation and regular status updates.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory).
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager with a strong focus on datarelated initiatives.
- Handson experience with Azure DevOps for project tracking and collaboration.
- Proven success in delivering largescale data migration projects.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
- Selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in federal government organisations is highly desirable.
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 Agile PM).
- Experience with cloudbased data platforms and data governance frameworks.
