Summary:

To support these objectives we seek a Commercial Lead dedicated to driving sales strategies developing and managing a highperforming sales team and achieving key revenue targets. You will hold the strategic mandate to plan and run the commercial side of the business with bestinclass processes by analyzing market trends forecasting sales and implementing strategies to maximize profitability. You will partner with the CEO to drive business growth ensuring operational efficiency and fostering successful customer relationships. Ideally you must possess strong analytical skills a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across various teams within the organization.

Brief Job Summary:

Your mission is to ensure you identify develop and administer strategic partnerships with other organizations and drive sales efforts to realize key business objectives gain operational efficiencies address unmet market needs achieve placement numbers and identify new business opportunities.

Key Duties & Job Responsibilities


Organizational

Develop and implement sales and commercial strategies to support Brighter Monday Ugandas mission and objectives.

Identify negotiate and secure strategic partnerships and sales opportunities with local and international organizations to drive business growth and workforce development.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Marketing Product HR) to ensure alignment on strategic objectives and seamless execution of sales and partnership initiatives.

Lead mentor and manage the sales team by setting clear targets providing guidance and motivating team members to achieve and surpass sales goals.

Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with broader company goals.

Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Country Manager and other senior management.

Aid in the development of annual commercial plans and support in the development of budgets annual plans and OKRs; as well as manage the trickledown and target allocation with the sales team.


Functional

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis networking and relationship building.

Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation prospecting sales presentations closing deals and postsale activities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address any shortfalls.

Conduct regular sales training and development programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all sales activities.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.

Ensure effective communication of the company s value proposition to the market.

Represent the company at industry events conferences and meetings.

Deal to Client ratio improvement

Sales team performance optimization by revenue

Growth in new business and client acquisition.

Requirements

Person Specifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in business administration Marketing Sales or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.

Years of Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role preferably within the digital solutions or employment services industry.

Skills required to perform the Job:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Excellent strategic thinking and planning abilities.

Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Knowledge of the employment services industry and the Ugandan market
