The Role
This sitebased Diesel Mechanic role is based at a workshop on a major mining site. Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduled Servicing & Repairs: Maintain Caterpillar mining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
- AirConditioning Repairs: Maintain and repair airconditioning systems to ensure operational comfort.
- Breakdown Response: Deliver swift solutions to minimise downtime and keep operations on track.
In this dynamic fastpaced environment your mechanical expertise and problemsolving skills will be highly valued.
What Were Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and skilled professional who thrives in a team environment. Key requirements include:
Qualifications & Licenses:
- Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate with at least 2 years of postapprenticeship experience.
- Automotive AirConditioning License.
- Valid Drivers License.
Technical Skills:
- Strong diagnostic capabilities with Caterpillar mining equipment.
- Effective troubleshooting skills in highpressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and uphold high standards of workmanship
