Are you a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic with experience in bus maintenance Join our dedicated team in Moree NSW and take on a rewarding role as the sole mechanic responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 18 Mercedes buses.
About the Role:
- Perform regular maintenance diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of 18 Mercedes buses.
- Provide occasional support to nearby towns with fleets owned by the same company.
- Ensure all vehicles are safe compliant and operating efficiently to meet service requirements.
- Work autonomously while managing the fleets mechanical needs with support from a larger network when required.
What Were Looking For:
- A strong background in heavy diesel mechanics is essential.
- Experience working with buses particularly Mercedes buses is highly regarded but not mandatory.
- The ability to work independently and take full ownership of fleet maintenance.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving mechanical issues.
- Strong communication skills and the flexibility to assist in nearby towns when needed.
