Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive wine list that reflects the diverse tastes and preferences of our guests

Source and purchase highquality wines from reputable suppliers

Provide exceptional wine service to guests in the dining and bar areas

Train and supervise other crew members in wine service techniques

Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for guests

Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of wines

Create and maintain relationships with wine vendors and suppliers

Collaborate with the culinary team to create wine pairing menus

Monitor and control costs related to the wine program

Stay updated on industry trends and developments in the world of wine

Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sommelier in a highend restaurant or luxury cruise ship

Extensive knowledge of wine regions varietals and food and wine pairings

Strong organizational and timemanagement skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional service

Certification from a recognized sommelier program is preferred

Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
