Duties:
- Plan and lead engagements
- Overseeing a client list with greater independence
- Mentorship and training of Junior Managers
- Execute a client service plan on complex engagements
- Identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects
- Interacting closely with the Partners in exceeding our clients expectations
- Ability to multitask and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines
- Supervisory review of files as needed
- Internal support for Jazzit QAM training assurance and other matters
- Assisting and working closely with the internal accounting director
Qualifications:
3 years of experience as an accounting manager in public practice
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
Ability to manage multiple clients
Ability to multitask and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines
Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
Understanding of Quickbooks Caseware Jazzit and other accounting software
Advanced communication and leadership skills for the mentorship of junior accounting managers
