Job Title: Principal Transmission Engineer
Job Location: Juno Beach FL
Expected Contract Length: 12 Months

Their portfolio includes various voltage transmission projects and they maintain a significant presence in multiple regional transmission organizations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Transmission Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in developing and managing highvoltage transmission projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cuttingedge transmission projects and influence critical infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define and shape project requirements
- Manage Engineering of Record (EOR) relationships
- Support narrative and commercial strategy development
- Analyze ISO requirements and emerging industry trends
- Participate in competitive transmission project proposals
- Oversee HV/EHV transmission line design activities
- Contribute to wildfire mitigation strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 10 years of transmission line design experience (115kV and above)
- Professional Engineering certification strongly preferred
- Experience with FERC Order 1000 competitive proposals
- Strong understanding of ISO requirements
- Commercial and contract negotiation experience
- Proven project leadership abilities
Additional Requirements:
- Valid drivers license required
- 40 hours per week standard business hours
- Some travel may be required
