Position Summary
The Quality Manager (QM) is responsible for all aspects of ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls. The QM is also responsible for developing implementing managing and maintaining effective Quality and Safety policies and procedures that meet contract requirements and the criteria for ISO compliance in all areas as well as company and government safety requirements.
Essential Functions of the Position
Prepare maintain enforce and update QC plans to drive performance using ISO 9001:2015 standards across the program and compliance with ISO 14001 standards in all areas.
Establish program objectives performance goals and assess progress.
Establish operational metrics/key indicators for process control and ongoing quality process improvements.
Conduct root cause/corrective action analysis.
Performs additional relevant duties as assigned.
Serve as the primary point of contact with the Government and manage operations at the installation level.
Attend briefings conferences and other Government designated meetings as required in the execution of this effort or as requested by the COR.
Be prepared to serve as a member of the Installation YearEnd Closeout Army Working Capital Fund Control Committee.
Interview and recommend selection of job applicants.
Provides guidance to all section leads to ensure successful execution of the contract.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Quality Manager oversees all Quality Evaluators and oversees quality at the project level.
Physical Demands
Required to walk stand sit and move about the property for long periods of time. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience performing quality control in an industrial/technical environment.
Three (3) years of experience in administrative professional analytical or other work related to International Organization for Standard (ISO) programs or operations is also required. These can be concurrent time periods.
Must have knowledge of Safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues.
Must possess the knowledge to maintain a quality management system in accordance with applicable ISO Standards.
Must possess broad knowledge of Army logistical functions and the ability to analyze develop evaluate advise or promote improvements in logistical programs.
Alt PM must have a minimum fifteen (15) years of management experience in army logistics operations.
Must have experience with financial management and knowledge of army logistics information systems.
Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills.
Welldeveloped multitasking and time management skills.
Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook.
Possess a Valid Drivers License without special restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Access.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
ISOQuality Management Systems Standard Lead Auditor Certification.
Security Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to obtain at a minimum a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
