Job Description
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
o Expertise in middleware technologies like Apache/Confluent Kafka IBM MQ.
o Expertise in NoSQL databases like Aerospike Redis
o Expertise in distributed search and analytics engine like Elasticsearch
o Experience with messageoriented middleware (MOM) web services and API management.
o Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs SOAP and JSON/XML for communication protocols.
o Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Shell scripting or Bash for automation tasks.
o Understanding of microservices architecture cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
ProblemSolving:
o Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to data flow system failures and service integration.
Project Management:
o Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively working under tight deadlines.
Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
o Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Middleware Management:
o Implement configure and maintain middleware solutions (e.g. Apache/Confluent Kafka IBM MQ RabbitMQ Message Broker).
o Implement configure and maintain NoSQL databases like Aerospike Redis etc.
o Implement configure and maintain distributed search and analytics engine like Elasticsearch.
System Integration:
o Collaborate with development teams to design and implement integration solutions that connect disparate systems ensuring smooth data flow and reduced latency.
o Troubleshoot and resolve middlewarerelated issues across complex IT environments.
Performance Tuning:
o Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and load balancing of middleware platforms.
o Monitor system health and optimize middleware processes to ensure reliability and uptime.
Security and Compliance:
o Ensure the secure configuration and integration of middleware technologies including encryption authentication and access control.
o Stay uptodate with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g. PCIDSS ISO).
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain comprehensive documentation for middleware configurations policies and procedures.
o Provide regular status reports performance metrics and troubleshooting updates to stakeholders.
Collaboration and Support:
o Work closely with infrastructure teams application developers and business units to understand integration needs and challenges.
o Provide second or thirdline support for middlewarerelated incidents and requests.
Stakeholder Management and Control to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining a healthy environment. Driving new programs while accounting for risk management or threats to Project progress. Participates in Quarterly planning and associated activities. Ensuring project level effort estimation and capacity planning to arrive at Project timelines for new product creation and launches. Following program progress and ensuring project scope doesn t get out of hand with the product owner.
