Job Description

  • The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated area by developing and executing strategic sales plans managing a sales team and building strong relationships with key customers.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the market strong leadership skills and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned area to achieve sales targets.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the area.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the market.
  • Team Leadership and Management:

    • Lead manage and motivate the area sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
    • Recruit train and develop sales representatives to ensure a highperforming team.
    • Monitor individual and team performance providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Address customer needs concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Work closely with the customer service and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring:

    • Track sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager highlighting achievements challenges and areas for improvement.
    • Manage the sales budget and ensure the profitability of the area.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain deep knowledge of the company s products services and value propositions.
    • Stay informed about industry developments market trends and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the area.
  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies legal requirements and ethical standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and sales agreements.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other departments (e.g. Marketing Product Development Customer Support) to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
    • Participate in crossfunctional meetings to provide sales insights and feedback on product performance and customer needs.
