Job Description

Painter Helper
Pay: $15$17/hr based on experience
Shift: Day Shift Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Employment Type: TemptoHire
Location: Pryor Oklahoma

We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Painter Helper to join our team in Pryor. This temptohire opportunity offers competitive pay steady dayshift hours and the chance to grow your expertise in a professional and safetyfocused environment.

As a Painter Helper you will play a vital role in preparing materials for cleaning masking and painting. Key responsibilities include verifying materials setting up equipment mixing and applying primer with minimal defects maintaining the paint booth and equipment and troubleshooting paintrelated issues. You will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols and supporting Health Safety Quality and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive or industrial painting including wet spray applications.
  • Familiarity with automated wet spray paint lines for steel components.
  • Ability to differentiate colors and apply paint millage accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools for surface preparation.
  • Physically capable of stooping bending squatting and consistently lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and personal protective equipment requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Pull and verify materials for processing.
  • Set up equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Identify surface finishing needs and address blemishes.
  • Ensure products meet work order specifications.
  • Provide feedback on issues and material shortages.
  • Maintain clean and functional painting equipment.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and management professionally.
